School uniforms should be given a chance

I think the plan for school uniforms is a great idea for many reasons. In the first place, no child will feel that he or she is better or poorer dressed than another. These clothes will cost no more than the usual school clothes most parents buy. Since uniforms are required, the buyer gets a tax write-off. Some of the complaints have been that the uniforms aren’t affordable. Actually, these clothes can also be bought at the Goodwill and yardsales. I think we should all have open minds and give the uniforms a chance.
