I campaigned for Lyndon Johnson as a Young Democrat with pal Peggy Baker. We looked up to Lady Bird as a leader of free women everywhere because she was outspoken. We wanted to be outspoken, too.
I loved Bernard Stubbs as the honorable man he was and spoke to him on the radio when he was radio call 111 and I was radio call 128...while he did not relish being Coronor, he did his job with dignity and thus giving dignity to the victim of his services. Both will be missed, but especially Bernard...good night Duk Mon
